7月17日-20日，东亚生态学会联盟第10次国际学术大会在韩国济州岛召开，会议主题为“Nature‘s Contribution to People (NCP) in East Asia: Toward the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF)”，草地农业科技学院教师井新教授、凌宁教授和青年研究员闫涛参加了会议。

期间，井新教授和凌宁教授应邀分别在专题“Changes of Subalpine and Alpine Ecosystems in East Asia”做了题为“Warming and altered precipitation independently and interactively suppress alpine soil microbial growth in a decadal-long experiment”和“A synthesis of studies examining the impacts of climate warming and anthropogenic activity on above- and belowground biodiversity in the Tibetan alpine grasslands”的学术报告。

会议期间，井新和凌宁与来自中日韩三国的生态学专家、学者进行了交流，重点与韩国首尔大学的Neung-Hwan Oh和HyunSeok Kim，韩国建国大学Haegeun Chung，日本北海道大学的Masahiro Nakamura等教授讨论了未来在全球变化实验方面的合作项目。

据悉，东亚生态学会联盟（East Asian Federation of Ecological Societies, 缩写为EAFES)由中国生态学学会、日本生态学会和韩国生态学会共同发起，于2003年1月在北京成立。东亚生态学会联盟国际学术研讨会（EAFES International Congress）是东亚生态学会的系列性会议，该大会每两年举办一次，是为东亚各国生态学工作者开展学术研讨和促进相互合作搭建的交流平台，下届将在日本东京举办。
