另，Owen Rowland博士和Shelley Hepworth博士将于6月6-7日(星期二、星期三)在本部二号生物楼401和403实验室对青年教师和研究生的“旱生植物叶和茎表皮蜡质成分、根系木栓质含量及其结构分析”等相关研究工作进行指导。

报告人简介：

Owen Rowland博士现任加拿大卡尔顿大学生物系及生物化学研究所副教授，主要从事植物角质层与木栓质的生物合成途径和调控机理及其在植物抗逆性中的作用机制方面的研究工作，在植物-生物化学-农业交叉领域取得诸多国际领先的成果，在Plant Cell、Plant Physiology、Plant Journal等国际知名期刊发表论文40余篇。Owen Rowland 博士于2015年6月被聘为兰州大学客座教授，2016年1月被聘为兰州大学萃英讲席教授。

Shelley Hepworth博士现任加拿大卡尔顿大学生物系及生物化学研究所副教授，主要从事器官边界区特异性表达的转录因子在植物形态建成及器官脱落过程中的作用机理方面的研究工作。在Plant Cell、Plant Physiology、Development、Plant Journal等国际知名期刊发表论文20余篇，被引用次数累计达2200余次。Shelley Hepworth博士于2016年12月被聘为兰州大学客座教授。
